A promising pre-season test in Valencia brought us confidence, but unfortunately, that performance will count for nothing in Mexico City, race performance is where it counts.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe\u2019re facing a big challenge but we have an incredible team of experienced, talented people, hungry for success. Last year, we took a big step forward in performance as a team, and with the Gen3 car, we\u2019re at a new stage of discovery in electric vehicle technology and we&#8217;re nearly starting from scratch. It\u2019s very different to drive, and the increased power under braking and acceleration makes for an enjoyable challenge behind the wheel.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe were fortunate to have a solid pre-season test in Valencia, but the real work will begin in Mexico City. In Formula E, the margins are super tight, and it will be very hard to identify who will be the team to beat at this stage. Because of this, it\u2019s important for us to focus on ourselves and make sure that our technical package is the best it possibly can be. If we stay grounded, work hard and focus on our own performance, I\u2019m confident that we can go on to achieve strong results\u00a0<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Maximilian G\u00fcnther, Driver<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>\u201c<em>I\u2019m feeling great about Mexico City, and I\u2019m very excited to get the season started. Not only do I love racing there, but the fans are probably the most passionate of the whole season and every year, the stadium section, Foro Sol, has an amazing energy and buzz. The track itself is fun to drive and has a number of different challenges, especially with the altitude which makes it quite unique compared to other races on the calendar.&#x200d;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe enjoyed a promising pre-season test in Valencia, and since then, we have been working very hard behind the scenes to continue to optimise our performance. Because the Gen3 car is new, I anticipate that everyone in the paddock will have a steep learning curve, but that\u2019s what makes a new era exciting. I&#8217;m really looking forward to starting my first race for Maserati MSG Racing, I feel part of the family already and I can\u2019t wait to get going\u00a0<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Giovanni Sgro, Head of Maserati Corse<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>\u00ab<em>Pre-season testing in Valencia was a great indication of the talent and dedication of the entire Maserati MSG Racing team. I like it, hopefully, it\u2019ll be a good one for this season\u00a0<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/magazineautomotor.com.mx\/sitio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Captura-de-pantalla-2023-01-10-a-las-19.52.04.png\"><img alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-44515\" src=\"https:\/\/magazineautomotor.com.mx\/sitio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Captura-de-pantalla-2023-01-10-a-las-19.52.04-300x291.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"291\" srcset=\"https:\/\/magazineautomotor.com.mx\/sitio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Captura-de-pantalla-2023-01-10-a-las-19.52.04-300x291.png 300w, https:\/\/magazineautomotor.com.mx\/sitio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Captura-de-pantalla-2023-01-10-a-las-19.52.04-150x146.png 150w, https:\/\/magazineautomotor.com.mx\/sitio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Captura-de-pantalla-2023-01-10-a-las-19.52.04.png 724w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Continuing to sport the same design since he stepped onto the single-seater scene, Max\u2019s helmet for Season 9 sports a refreshed colour palette, alongside some new distinctive detailing.\u00a0\u201c<em>As you can see, my helmet is a new colour,\u201d says Max. \u201cBlue is my favourite colour, and I thought that now is the right time to make the change as the team colour is very blue.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cOn the design, there are small changes compared to the past but really, the main concept is the same. I\u2019ve got the \u2018Max G\u2019 logo on the side which is something that I\u2019ve had for along time.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI also have the star on the top, which has a special meaning for me as well. Obviously, I\u2019ve got my new starting number, the number seven, in the back.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI will use this number from now on, hopefully for a long time. Some other details on the helmet include the \u2018Max G\u2019 logo underneath my visor, some glitter detailing to make it look even more shiny.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIn general, I like the helmet to be very simple, clear, to be able to spot it from a distance, and that\u2019s why I chose this nice colour.
