Romeo pose\u00eda la inteligencia y la visi\u00f3n necesarias para trabajar con hombres de talento excepcional; entre ellos, destacaron dos nombres: Vittorio Jano y Enzo Ferrari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El \u00e9xito en la Targa Florio de 1923, el primero de verdadera importancia para Alfa Romeo, no bast\u00f3 para que Nicola Romeo consagrara definitivamente al Biscione en las carreras. Fue entonces cuando Enzo Ferrari, en nombre de Romeo, llev\u00f3 a Vittorio Jano a Mil\u00e1n, el hombre que dise\u00f1ar\u00eda el Grand Prix \u00abP2\u00bb, el auto cuyas victorias catapultaron a Alfa Romeo a la cima del \u00e9xito deportivo internacional. A pesar de las dificultades econ\u00f3micas, este joven emprendedor continu\u00f3 sus estudios, obteniendo t\u00edtulos en ingenier\u00eda civil y el\u00e9ctrica en N\u00e1poles y Lieja, B\u00e9lgica. Vivi\u00f3 un tiempo en Francia y Alemania, y luego comenz\u00f3 a trabajar con empresas brit\u00e1nicas y estadounidenses en el sector ferroviario. En 1906, fund\u00f3 su propia empresa, \u00abIng. Nicola Romeo &amp; C.\u00bb, en Mil\u00e1n, importando maquinaria desmontada de Estados Unidos para obras de ingenier\u00eda civil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante la Primera Guerra Mundial, Romeo expandi\u00f3 su empresa incorporando nuevos socios y se hizo cargo de A.L.F.A., que acababa de entrar en liquidaci\u00f3n, iniciando la producci\u00f3n para el esfuerzo b\u00e9lico. La empresa enriqueci\u00f3 a Romeo y, en 1918, abri\u00f3 la compa\u00f1\u00eda a nuevo capital, cambi\u00f3 su nombre a \u00abSociet\u00e0 Anonima Italiana Nicola Romeo &amp; C.\u00bb y reconvirti\u00f3 la producci\u00f3n, incursionando en los sectores agr\u00edcola y ferroviario. Nicola Romeo continu\u00f3 como director general, guiando la transici\u00f3n con su experiencia. En 1928, dej\u00f3 el cargo y, en 1929, fue nombrado Senador del Reino, un prestigioso reconocimiento a su contribuci\u00f3n a la industria italiana. Falleci\u00f3 el 15 de agosto de 1938 en Magreglio, donde se hab\u00eda retirado con su esposa y sus siete hijos, dejando como legado la memoria de una figura decidida y visionaria en la industria italiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hoy, en el Museo Alfa Romeo de Arese y en eventos internacionales, los autos dise\u00f1ados y desarrollados durante el per\u00edodo \u00e9pico del liderazgo de Nicola Romeo siguen brillando, fascinando (y rugiendo), dando testimonio de una era del automovilismo que hizo historia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-1 is-cropped
